The first steps into precision rifle can be so overwhelming that most shooters thinking about where to start… never start.
WHAT TO EXPECT
This introductory one‑day course walks the beginning marksman through establishing a solid understanding of the basics of mid‑ to long‑range shooting. In the first 3–4 hours of classroom instruction, we establish the how and explain the why of setting up a rifle, ballistic solvers, and external ballistic theory to assist the shooter in their first competition, match, hunt, or class. For the second portion of the class, we will travel to one of two local ranges depending on availability.
New Holland Rifle and Pistol is a 600‑yard range, and Middletown Hunters and Anglers is a 200‑yard range.
We will verify true muzzle velocity, zero rifles, build data cards, and become familiar with unconventional shooting positions.
